ANCOP USA WALK 2024

The annual ANCOP USA Walk brings together families and communities committed to supporting the education of poor and disadvantaged students. The largest fundraising event of ANCOP USA has resulted in over 14,000 educational sponsorships since 2016.  We hope to increase our impact this year with your help!

The ANCOP USA Walk 2024 theme is “Walk in The Light.” 

This taken from the anchor verse:  1 John 1:7  “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

Inspired by our theme, the ANCOP USA Walk 2024 challenge will be a virtual journey through the holy shrines of Italy.   

Why Italy?  There’s popular phrase that says "All roads lead to Rome."  Pope Francis has announced the year 2025 as a Holy Year of Jubilee and millions of pilgrims are expected to come to Rome, including Couples for Christ!

Between August 15 to October 13, 2024, participants have the opportunity to embark on a 1,000-mile virtual journey that starts from Turin in the north and ending at the Vatican in Rome.

Completing 1,000 miles in 60 days is not easy, that means walking at least 17 miles every day!  But the main objective of ANCOP USA Walk is to raise funds so we encourage participants to focus on raising $1,000 to complete the virtual journey.  Each holy shrine on the route represents a fundraising milestone.

So this is the challenge:  walk 1,000 miles or raise $1,000!

We hope that your ANCOP USA Walk 2024 journey provides you an opportunity to encounter Christ by advocating for the poor.  This is not about fitness level or ability but about a community coming together to Answer the Cry of the Poor!
